So you've got a new copy of Windows XP. The menu's are all new and shiny, the interface is nice and clean... ...and you can't find a bloody thing! The good news is there is a solution. Switch the interface back to the Classic interface. How? you ask. Read on... |

Ok, lets start off easy. Click the right mouse button on the Start button. The following menu should appear (see right.) Choose Properties from the list. |

The Taskbar and Start Menu Properties window should appear (pictured left). Just click on the Classic Start menu option and choose Apply, then OK. |

Your start menu should now look like the image to right, and My computer is back in it's rightful place on the Desktop. But there's more...
