So you've got a new copy of Windows XP. The menu's are all new and shiny, the interface is nice and clean...
...and you can't find a bloody thing!
The good news is there is a solution. Switch the interface back to the Classic interface. How? you ask. Read on...
Ok, lets start off easy. Click the right mouse button on the Start button. The following menu should appear (see right.)
Choose Properties from the list.
The Taskbar and Start Menu Properties window should appear (pictured left).
Just click on the Classic Start menu option and choose Apply, then OK.
Your start menu should now look like the image to right, and My computer is back in it's rightful place on the Desktop.
